Venues
The main venue for the event will be the Avonside Girls' High School.
Official Hotels
The following city centre hotels are designated as official hotels. Shuttle buses will depart from the Novotel for the Avonside Girls' High School and seats can be reserved upon payment of a fee. The booking links offer a 15% discount to the flexible rate offered by the hotels.

Ground Transportation
Shuttle buses will be available from the Novotel Christchurch Cathedral Square. The Novotel is a short walk from the Ibis and delegations staying at the Ibis are requested to board the buses from the Novotel. The charges for seats on the shuttle bus and a booking link will be shared soon.
Invitation Letters
If your delegation requires a specific invitation letter for visa purposes, we would be happy to issue one after your delegation registers for the Global Round.
Tournament of Champions Qualification
Scholars at the Christchurch Global Round will have the same opportunities to qualify for the Tournament of Champions in November 2025 as those of the other Global Rounds. Qualifiers will be announced at the Closing Ceremony on Sep 23.
We ask that delegations who are interested in attending the ToC to keep in mind the amount of time required to organize US visas, school permission, and other necessary arrangements when selecting a Global Round to attend.
