Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. Will our registration fee be refunded if we don’t get a visa?

A. The registration fee will be refunded in full only if you apply for a visa before September 15 and your visa is denied or not approved on time.
Cancellations before September 30th may be refunded with a $100 cancellation fee per scholar. Cancellations on or after September 30th may be 50% credited toward future participation.

Q2. Can you send us a visa letter or invitation letter?

A. Absolutely! Please send us the passport details of all participants using the template and we will send you the invitation letter as soon as possible.

Q3. Can more than two adults per delegation register with Full Access?

A. Unfortunately, due to space limitations we are unable to permit more than two adults per delegation to register with full access.

Q4. Can parents purchase closing ceremony tickets?

A. A small number of closing ceremony tickets may be available for sale only if there are available seats. Please check with us upon arrival in New Haven.

Q5. Will shuttle buses be available?

A. Shuttle buses will be available from official hotels in Milford and Shelton for all scholars and adults. The charges are $110USD for the entire event. Prior reservations are mandatory and a booking link is available on the Tournament of Champions page.

Q6. Will there be shuttle buses from the Cambria hotel?

A. The Cambria Hotel is within walking distance from most venues on the Yale Campus. There will be no shuttle bus from the Cambria Hotel except for November 8th when we will organize buses from the Yale Campus to transport everyone to the Bushnell Theater in Hartford for the Senior Awards Ceremony.

Q7. Will there be shuttle buses from the Village Suites / La Quinta Inn

A. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer shuttle buses from the Village Suites and La Quinta Inn. These hotels are close to the Yale University Campus, and we recommend using an Uber, Taxi, or public transportation.

Q8. Will optional tours be offered? What will be the charges?

A. Optional tours of Boston will be offered on free days. The charges and a booking link will be posted on the Tournament of Champions pagesoon.

Q9. What will the tour include?

A. The tour will include campus tours of Harvard University and MIT, and a visit to the historical areas of Boston. The timings will be from 7.30 am to 7.30 pm, with a full schedule to be released shortly.
