Regional and global rounds for 2024-2025 are currently being scheduled and posted on our calendar. If your city had a round in 2023-2024, please know that we'll be returning, most likely on dates similar to last year. If your city hasn't had a round yet, and you'd like to host one, please contact us.
Rule updates for 2025
At all of our rounds, teams will debate three times each. For their first two debates, they will have unrestricted access to their devices and the internet (if available) during the 15-minute preparation period; afterwards, they must put their devices away. For their third debate, teams will have no access to devices or the internet at any time.

February 20 - Junior Division Day 1 at Light International School
February 21 - Junior Division Day 2 at Bomas of Kenya
February 22 - Senior Division Day 1 at Light International School
February 23 - Senior Division Day 2 at Bomas of Kenya
Day 1 events will take place at Korrnell Academy. Day 2 events will take place at the National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Guangfu Campus.
April 5th at Heartfulness International School - Omega Branch
April 6th at the auditorium at MCC Higher Secondary School, Harrington Road, Chetpet
The dates for the junior division will be 12 and 14 April and for the senior division the date will be 13 and 15 April.
The Tashkent Round is open to scholars aged 12 and above.
The day-by-day schedule will be:
April 26th — Junior Day 1 at Paragon International School
April 27th — Senior Day 1 at Paragon International School
April 28th — Combined Day 3, held at external venue TBA
Delegations may register for the Kyushu Round with the WSC Japan Committee using this link.
Day 1 will take place at Gandhi Memorial Intercontinental School
Delegations may register for the Kansai Round either by using the registration form attached below, or with the WSC Japan Committee using this link. Please only register once.
May 3 - Junior Division Day 1 at GMIS
May 4 - Junior Division Day 2 at Ciputra Artpreneur; Senior Division Day 1 at GMIS
May 5 - Senior Division Day 2 at Ciputra Artpreneur
Delegations may register for the Tokyo Round either by using the registration form attached below, or with the WSC Japan Committee using this link. Please only register once.
Day 1 will take place at Sacred Heart College and day 2 at Newman College.
